Selarid® (selamectin) is a topical parasiticide for puppies and kittens from Norbrook®. It is an affordable, monthly topical prevention option that protects your kittens and puppies from certain parasites.

For puppies and kittens, Selarid kills adult fleas and prevents flea eggs from hatching for one month and is indicated for the prevention and control of flea infestations, prevention of heartworm disease, and the treatment and control of ear mite infestations.

For puppies only: Selarid is indicated for the treatment and control of sarcoptic mange and for the control of tick infestations due to the American Dog Tick.

For kittens only: Selarid is also indicated for the treatment and control of roundworm and intestinal hookworm infections in kittens.

Selarid is safe for dogs 6 weeks of age and older, and cats 8 weeks of age and older.
