**Adult cats:** Adult cats should be fed either once or twice per day. When you first start feeding Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Green Pea & Chicken Dry Cat Food, we suggest to start with the amounts recommended in the table. The amount of food should always be adjusted to suit your cat’s needs. If you would like to provide a special treat for your cat, you can add small amounts of Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Chicken & Green Pea Canned Cat Food. **Gestating and Lactating Queens:** Gestating and lactating queens will consume more food, usually an additional 1/2 - 2 daily. **Older cats:** As your cat begins to age, his energy expenditure will decrease. Decreasing the amount of food accordingly will allow for the maintenance of proper body weight for your less active cat. Older cats are sometimes more reluctant to eat hard foods. Adding larger amounts of Natural Balance® L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® Chicken & Green Pea Canned Cat Food will help the most "finicky" eater enjoy their daily meals. These feeding guidelines are suggested only. Feeding amounts may vary by breed, activity level, temperament and climate. Amounts are recommended for an average cat with normal activity. We recommend that you do not add vitamins, minerals or any other supplements, except upon the advice of a veterinarian. The maintenance of proper body weight is most important for your cat’s health. Consult your veterinarian for specific weight recommendations for your cat. Remember, fresh clean water should be available at all times!
